Hello beautiful soul,

It’s the 30th of November, and I’ve been sitting with a very honest reflection this morning…
I don’t want to end this year feeling like I coasted.
Or like I left myself behind.
Or like I let another December drift by while waiting for January to save me.

I want to end this year knowing — truly knowing — that I gave it my best and I didn’t give up on myself.
And even more than that…
I want to start the next year feeling like I’m already ahead, no longer playing catch-up with my own life.

And I wondered if maybe you were feeling the same.

Because this is the season where most people mentally check out.
But for practitioners, coaches, healers, and deep thinkers like us, December carries a rare kind of magic — a doorway to becoming.

And today, I want to invite you into it gently.

The Things We Promised Ourselves

As I looked back over my year, I noticed the things I let slip — the things I meant to do, the habits I wanted to build, the parts of myself I wanted to honour.

You know the ones.

The promises whispered quietly on mornings filled with hope.

Some of mine?
✨ I wanted to exercise more consistently
✨ I wanted to keep my business outreach warm and relational
✨ I wanted to feel stronger — mentally, physically, emotionally

None of these are dramatic.
But they matter, because I matter.
And so do you.

So instead of waiting for January (when we’re all exhausted and over-sugared and swimming in expectations), I’m choosing to begin now.

My Two Daily Commitments for the Next 30 Days

Nothing big.
Nothing overwhelming.
Nothing driven by pressure or perfection.

Just two simple, identity-shaping acts:

10 minutes of movement every day
Not a full workout.
Just 10 minutes of honouring my body so my January-self feels supported, not abandoned.

15 minutes of outreach + engagement every day
Because clients don’t come from hiding.
They come from connection — warm, real, human connection.

And I want to begin the year ahead of myself, not scrambling to rebuild abandoned habits.

These two practices are my way of not giving up on myself in the final stretch of the year.

Your Turn: Three Promises, One Choice

Today, I lovingly invite you to list:

What three things did you promise yourself this year?

Not the huge, dramatic ones — the honest ones.

Then choose one to honour every day in December.
Just one.

Not for an hour.
Not perfectly.
Not with pressure.

But for ten minutes.

Ten minutes is enough.
Ten minutes compounds.
Ten minutes shifts identity.
Ten minutes says: I matter. My future matters. My word to myself matters.

Why Start Now Instead of January?

Because waiting another month means:

– another month of old habits
– another month of low energy
– another month of hiding from your own dreams
– another month of “I’ll start soon”

But starting now — even gently — means:

✔ you enter January already in motion
✔ you build trust with yourself
✔ you prove you don’t need a perfect fresh start
✔ your nervous system gets a whole month of gentle conditioning
✔ you begin 2026 ahead, not behind

This is the energy of becoming.

Your Ten-Minute December Practice

Choose one of your three promises and give it ten minutes every day.

Here are examples to make it easy:

  • If you wanted to journal more:
    → 10 minutes a day, no rules.
  • If you wanted more clients:
    → 15 minutes of outreach and connecting with ideal clients.
  • If you wanted better health:
    → 10 minutes of movement, yes — even on Christmas Day.
  • If you wanted more calm:
    → 10 minutes of breath-work or quiet.
  • If you wanted more discipline:
    → 10 minutes of the task you’ve been avoiding.

This isn’t about achievement.
This is about identity.

This December, you become the person who keeps a promise to yourself.
